411God Donation FAQ
1. Am I required to donate to 411God in order to receive the calls?
a. Nope.
Nuh-uh.c. That’s a negative.
d. 411God is priceless (Get it? “Price-less”? Yeah, that’s why I’m not a comedian.)
e. “I’ll take Opposites for $100 Alex.” “The opposite of yes.” “What is ‘No’?” “Correct!”
f. No! You are not required to make a donation to receive 411God messages.
2. Say I do want to donate to 411God, what are my options?
a. Via credit/debit card on our donation page
Call us at 1-800-723-1287 if you’d rather talk to a person.c. * NEW* Use our new mGive widget to donate $5.00 to 411God.
d. * NEW* Instead of the widget, just text the word CHANGE to 90999 to give a $5 give to 411God (see the next question for details).
3. Wait, what? Widget? What’s an mGive?
a. Here’s the skinny: Our partnership with mGive allows you to make a small donation of $5.00 to 411God by texting the word CHANGE to 90999 and have that charge show up on your next cell phone bill.
A one-time donation of $5 will be added to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance. Standard messaging rates and additional fees may apply. All charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Service is available on most carriers. Donations are collected for the benefit of the 411God by the Mobile Giving Foundation and subject to the terms found at www.hmgf.org/t. You can unsubscribe at any time by texting STOP to 90999.c. It depends on your cell phone carrier, but your next cell phone bill will have a line like this: “Mobile Donation: Mobile Giving Foundation For info visit: www.hmgf.org/t …….. $5.00”
4. Will I receive a receipt for my donation to 411God?
a. Yes. Immediately after you make an online donation, an email confirmation will be sent to you confirming your donation.
Within the next 10 business days, a receipt will be mailed to the address you provided.c. If you gave a donation through mGive, you can print a receipt from this page: http://www.hmgf.org/SMS_Donations/
5. Are my donations tax-deductible?
a. Yes. 411God is maintained and operated by the Center for Bible Engagement, a ministry of Back to the Bible a registered not-for-profit organization.
6. How much does it cost to keep 411God running?
a. It costs 411God approximately $36.00 to provide calls to one user for one year.
7. Is the information I provide to 411God secure?
a. Absolutely. To confirm, look at the web address in your URL bar when on the donation page. The “https” indicates you are on a secure page and all information you enter will be encrypted.
Our site security is certified by GeoTrust.8. Is it possible to set up a recurring donation?
a. Yes and no and kinda.
No, not through the 411God website.c. Yes, by calling Customer Service at 800-723-1287.
d. Kinda, through mGive, you are allowed to give up to 4 times in a month, though it’s not automatic.
9. I’m not comfortable giving online, is there a phone number I can call instead?
